Update on the Stanley Heirs Park atop Kayford Mountain (what’s left of it)

I went up to Kayford Mountain this weekend and it is flatter than ever. Larry Gibson should be commended for not only speaking everywhere he can about mountaintop removal, but also for making Kayford mountain so accessible to anyone interested in mountaintop removal.
Film and documentary makers from seven countries have come to Kayford to get footage on mountain top removal. If it were not for the Stanley Heirs Park, there would not be a place for a mountain top removal viewing place for citizens.
Not only is it a time consuming chore to keep the cemetery mowed (the best place to view the removals), but it also costs a fair amount of money. Needless to say it is going to cost a fair amount more in the future as both Larry and his Uncle Vernon have heart problems and can not be doing that kind of work any more.
