Spring Review 2002
This year, we will continue to celebrate West Virginia's Wilderness, and examine the Forest Service's plans to build roads and cut timber from thousands of acres in the Upper Williams River area at our 36th annual Spring Review.
It will be held the weekend of May 10-12 at the Handley Wildlife Cabin on the upper Williams River. We will have field trips including to the Cranberry Wilderness, Upper Williams Timber sale area, and Canoeing on the Williams River. Our Saturday evening program will discuss the upcoming forest plan revision. Look for more details and registration information in the March issue of The Highlands Voice.
