Early June 2001 on Roaring Plains, looking south over North Fork Valley. This lone tree is permenently slanted from the gale force winds so common up here. For a sense of scale look very carefully for Seneca Rocks. Since we are so high above the valley, it looks small. If you've been to Seneca Rocks, you know that it towers over the valley as seen from below. There is no designated trail near this location.
